The American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class that we offer is designed to train candidates with the necessary skills to promote water safety, prevent accidents and injury while also learning crucial response techniques in the event of a water emergency. The Red Cross lifeguard training program is designed to arm candidates with the proper knowledge necessary to be a lifeguard while also preparing them for a variety of scenarios in and around water.
Our lifeguard testing not only examines comprehension of the written lifeguarding requirements but also evaluates overall knowledge of valuable and crucial hands-on skills as well as proper procedure and lifeguarding protocol.
Our training classes also incorporate subjects and activities not taught in the traditional American Red Cross curriculum such as:
- Shallow Water Blackout
- Asphyxiation pneumonia
- Advanced Surveillance
- Scenario Based Training
- & More!
